1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BAPU services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Description of Service

BAPU operates decentralized social networking infrastructure based on the AT Protocol, providing identity, hosting, federation, and communication services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction. You must not use this service if you are located in a jurisdiction subject to US sanctions or export restrictions.

4. User Responsibilities

Maintain account security
Complete and maintain identity verification where required
Use services lawfully
Respect the rights and privacy of others
Refrain from abuse, harassment, or illegal content

5. Prohibited Activities

Illegal activity
Spam, phishing, or fraud
Malware distribution
Network abuse or denial-of-service attempts
Exploitation of protocol vulnerabilities

6. Content Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for content they publish. BAPU does not actively monitor all content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

BAPU complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Copyright infringement notices may be sent to legal@bapu.app. BAPU is not responsible for content originating from third-party AT Protocol servers federated with this network.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or legal risk.

8. Service Availability

The service is provided “as is” without guarantees of uptime, continuity, or availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

BAPU shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BAPU's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid BAPU in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware. You agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting legal@bapu.app before initiating any formal proceeding.
